Self-isolation is self-investment

I don’t envy anyone who has had to (or chosen to) self-isolate.

It can strain your patience, your health and your supplies.

I know I need to get outside in the fresh air and to be with people. Many of you are the same. So many coping mechanisms – from nice restaurants to festivals to sports – are no longer around.

Meanwhile, there’s still plenty of Netflix, social media and other internet-based distractions.

So many healthy things to do with your time have vanished, leaving plenty of less healthy things to fill the gap.

It’s a dangerous situation. Play the next few weeks and months poorly, and you might need years to recover from them – and I’m not talking about the virus here.

I’m talking about what I know best – the mind.

If you find yourself going stir-crazy, there’s plenty of things you can do to invest in yourself.

Find a new hobby or get back into an old one.

Any and all of those will help… but maybe they feel like small potatoes to you. Those are excellent maintenance activities. But what if you want to really use this time?

To not squander it, but to emerge from your isolation even stronger.

This is the perfect time to invest in your mind – to take it from where it is to where it can be. Few things stave off that feeling of hopelessness and restlessness than dedicated, meaningful work.

So get to work now.

I’m offering everything Monster Mind Edukaré does – all 19 modules of mind sharpening goodness – plus the following extras:

  • An absurdly generous discount – saving you $100,
  • A complimentary copy of Three-Score Navike, to help you stabilise your life immediately,
  • A guide to reconnecting with nature, even when you’re stuck inside,
  • A handy alternative to meditation for training your focus and calming your body,
  • An exclusive podcast on how to handle the anxiety, lack of control, financial stress and social stress of self-isolation. Even if you’re not quarantining yourself, if enough other people do it, it makes everything in life harder. Here’s how to endure that.

These bonuses disappear at Saturday morning, 0800 AEDT (GMT+11). That’s Friday night for most of the world, because time zones are fun like that. If you’re prone to procrastination, don’t leave it til the last minute only to find you’ve done the conversion wrong. Get moving, sooner rather than later.

P.S. Anyone who already owns Edukaré can enjoy these bonuses too. Simply log on to the owner’s page and download them before the deadline.
