Look, this might be easier if I explain some of the principles.
Actually, scratch that – I want to give an example you might not expect.
A friend of mine was telling me about a dance instructor he came across. This instructor was trained in hypnosis, neurolinguistic programming and a few related disciplines.
He used these to get his dancers into a more fun, open and spontaneous state of mind. Having been a dancer, I can tell you how amazing this would be.
I know some people reading this are all, whoa, you can do that with hypnosis?
And the hypnotists are all, heh, clever idea.
Hypnosis is all about taking people from one state of mind to another. It’s deliberate and controlled shifting of consciousness. You lead people from one frame to a different frame.
And maybe, if it’s right and sensible to do so, you change the state of mind they’ll be in the future.
It’s nothing fancier than that.
So can it resolve your anxieties, why yes it can.
In fact, that’s thinking small.
That’s taking away a negative state of mind, but wouldn’t you like to replace it with a better one?
