Vaping is for losers

Hey, don’t shoot the messenger. I don’t mind what vices you choose to indulge in – that’s between you and the pleasure centres of your brain.

But I have to tell ya – if you vape, people laugh at you behind your back.

I’m serious. With cigarettes, they’d turn their nose up at you. Wrinkle their noses as you walked by. Resist the urge, or give into it, to roll their eyes when you needed to “step outside for a break”.

With vaping, though?

You get all of that, with a few extra points for mockery.

You think smoking is okay now, just because it’s cool again?

Or because it smells nice?

Even though those flavours have all sorts of health problems too?

That’s what people think – you’re some sucker who’s thrilled to ignore medical science if it’s trendy to.

And they think you’re too weak to quit, so you rely on this weird crutch that “isn’t really smoking”, even though it is.

Or how you don’t think for yourself, following every fashion that involves toxifying your body and brain.

Honestly, I don’t think it’s fair. These people spend all day ingesting sugar and unnatural chemicals. Then warp their sense of self with social media and pornography addictions.

Don’t know what to tell you. Those character flaws are “normal”. Yours attracts mockery.

If you don’t like that double standard, you have – as I see it – only one option:


Right now.

Show you’re stronger than they think. Show you’re stronger than they are, because you face your struggles head on… and beat them.

Honestly, what choice do you have?
